June 3rd Post

I just read my post on June 3rd. What was I thinking? I am not usually mean but in retrospect, I think it was mean. Those feet belong to someone who might just read my blog. I would delete the blog but I think the public has a right to know that I can be mean. So to the girl with the shoes, I apologize, I'm sure you have very nice feet. Maybe I was jealous that you get to wear such high heels, I could-but would break an ankle. My lifestyle does not promote sexy, high shoes. Also, I have flat, wide feet. There I said it, FLAT & WIDE. They resemble cartoon feet that have been run over. So feel free to post this picture on your page and ask Is it me or are these feet, flat and wide?

Is it me?

Do this look weird or is it just me? I'm looking for the words, webbed, skeletor, shoes that are too tight. Are they supposed to look like this? If they are well done, my friend, well done. What do you think.

Go Home and stay there

I'm normally a pretty understanding person but today my understanding ran dry. I'm in the check out line at (look left) with my sons and I notice the lady ahead of me, who also had a little boy in her cart. You know us moms - we zero in on each other when our children are about the same age. Well, I hear the mom tell the cashier, "Oh, he doesn't feel well, i just came from the Dr. and he has strep throat and a double ear infection" My alarm systems started blaring and I moved our cart farther away-just in time because her little one puked all over the floor, where my feet used to be. Now, just so you know-her cart was filled with emergency jeans, wallpaper and a magazine. All the things a person needs for a sick child. Like a freak, I grabbed the hand sanitizer, instructed my oldest to not touch anything on the conveyor. I ask you, have you ever been to the Dr with a little one, who is really sick and thought. I need jeans-stat. So to you lady from (look left) GO HOME & STAY HOME!

Cloverfield

Cloverfield, Overfield. This movie was interesting in a train wreck sort of way. The opening scenes were tedious and way too long. The special effects were decent but could have been so much more. The dialog was witty but moved at such a pace it was hard to catch. It's almost has if the director was confused with what type of movie he wanted to make. The acting was just okay. Compare this movie with The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and you will see it was a great idea gone wrong. This gets a rating of watching on basic cable on a Saturday night.

Lars and the real girl

Loved, Loved, Loved this movie. What a surprise hit. Be sure to check this unique flick out. The relationships between Lars, his family and neighbors are worth the watching. Subtle humor with a warm and moving script. The writing was brilliant and Ryan Gosling gives a memorable performance. You will be telling your friends about this one, then they'll tell two friends and so on and so on.... Definitely a full price rating.
